After the formal completion of the project in September 2018, a two-day closing event was held in November 2019 at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The closing event consisted of a public conference and a closed workshop. During the conference, the compiled knowledge was discussed. Additionally, the planned collected volume ExtremA 2019 was presented to the public. In the subsequent closed workshop, selected authors discussed how the findings could be applied in practice.
